Exploring the Sounds of Love – a Night of Music and Wisdom

A Talk by our very special guest, Swami Kashi

and some special selections of Classical North Indian music, Poetry readings, and Kirtan

Our special guest, Swami Kashi

Swami Kashi Muktananda Sarasvati (or simply, Swami Kashi) is a monk who has lived in Uttarkashi, India, for 16 years, where he studies Sanskrit and philosophy. He likes to travel, teach philosophy, and meet new people. Swami Kashi leads meditation and Vedanta retreats in India and internationally; and guides an annual trip to the Himalayas in India, centered around people and places of special significance. Swamiji is appreciated for his ability to communicate very deep philosophical truths in a clear and joyful way. His practical and warm approach are ideal qualities to transmit the teachings of yoga to a Western audience.
