Kokedama is a ball of soil, covered with moss, on which an ornamental plant grows. The idea has its origins in Japan, where it is a combination of the nearai bonsai and kusamono planting styles. Today, Kokedama is very popular in Japanese gardens and for us Bendites, in our windows and coffee tables. A great centerpiece in a bowl or a hanging display in your window! Great workshop for kids (10+), date night, or the whole family! Lasts about 45 min. Come prepared to get your hands dirty and walk away with an amazing Kokedama!
We will be building these with the holidays in mind! Think bells, mistletoe, Christmas Cactus, Norfolk Pines, etc!
This event is indoors and marks are mandated to protect ourselves and our guests. Thank you!
