- The Altar Cafe will be serving alcoholic beverages.
- All Ages Show
Formed from the ashes of the Portland band Pumpkin Ridge, The Great Northern Planes are among the old guard in Pacific Northwest bluegrass, having played with the same core group for 25 years. Their entertaining live performances feature great vocal harmonies, irreverent humor, and blend with the band’s friendly, approachable manner.
The Planes performed at nearly all of the first dozen or so Wintergrass bluegrass festivals in WA, and have played at nearly every bluegrass festival in the Northwest. They have performed on stage with Bill Monroe, played at the Peter Britt festival in Jackonsville, OR, and even played inside the cockpit of the Spruce Goose!
The Great Northern Planes headlined Bend’s own High & Dry Bluegrass Festival for all 9 years of the festival’s run. They will be joined at their Old Stone show by The Runway Ranch Band. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to catch a full concert performance from one of bluegrass’s fan-favorite acts!
