The Little Woody Barrel-Aged Beer, Cider & Whiskey Festival celebrates craft barrel-aged beer and cider from across the Northwest, along with whiskey, during the seventh annual festival August 30th & 31st. The Little Woody takes place on the lawn of the Deschutes Historical Museum at 129 Northwest Idaho Ave. in downtown Bend, Oregon.

To commemorate one of Central Oregon’s hallmarks—craft beer—and lend a nod to the historic techniques used by brewers with oaken casks, The Little Woody features small-batch beers aged in wood barrels by top Northwest breweries. For a full line-up of featured brews, which will be updated closer to the event, visit

The 2019 Little Woody will also feature a tasting of small-batch American rye whiskeys and bourbons, live music and local food vendors.

Includes T-Shirt, Early Entry (4pm on Friday) for VIP Homebrewing Presentation + 10 Tasting Tokens

Get the party started an hour before gates open to GA ticket holders! VIP Tasting Package purchasers are granted access to The Little Woody at 4pm, including a special VIP-exclusive homebrewing presentation by the Central Oregon Homebrewers Organization.

Long-time homebrewer Spencer Williams will talk about homebrewing equipment as well as barrel-aging techniques you can do at home—yes, at home! From customizing your brewing gear to fit your style and save money, to working with bourbon barrel wood, oak spirals, aged blending, and more, you’re sure to learn some new tricks and approaches to improving your homebrewing!

Spencer Williams has been homebrewing for 24 years and has won many awards for his beers over the years. He has successfully de-mystified the art of wood aging beers and regularly incorporates the technique into his brews.

At the end of every Little Woody event, a select group of "Gnomie Homies" are allowed into the event to fill their Growlers with the beer and cider that remains after the festival gates close. From 9:30-10pm, attendees can purchase The Big Token, allowing them to fill a growler from the remaining beer available on tap. Keep in mind, some beers may not be available at this point in the event but you may take your pick of those that are. The growler fills cannot be consumed on premise and again, beer is based on availability. Why let all of that great tasting beer go to waste? Be a Gnomie Homie.

***Family members are welcome until 6pm Saturday with a paying parent or guardian in attendance. Parent/guardian is required to sign a pledge acknowledging the responsibility of preventing children from consuming alcohol and the penalties for the parent and child. Please note that by 6pm all guests under the age of 21 must leave the venue. The event is 21+ Friday from 4pm-10pm and Saturday from 6pm-10pm.***
