About This Event
Comedy mayhem is coming to the east side of Bend. Five writing teams. Five rounds of secret prompts. Each round, teams get just five minutes to write their best one-liner before time runs out. After each round, writing teams share their best one-liners, get judged, and rewarded with terrible prizes in their questionable and misguided pursuit of glory and infamy.
The writing teams are composed of local authors, comedians, improv artists and musicians including Gregg Morris, Noah Walden, Tatiana Oberson, Brent Bybee, Michele DiCio, Tess Eddington, Sara Schor, Joel Bloom, Cody Michael and Fredo Pagliacci.
While the writers scramble during their five minutes, a rotating lineup of comedians hits the stage with five-minute sets to keep the laughs rolling. Comedians include Cam Stone, Jodi Compton, Micah Leslie, Cole Pensinger and Jon Brown.
Doors open at 7:30 and the show begins at 8:00pm. Seating on either business patio is first come first served. The shared patios are enclosed and heated. Food can be shared across each patio but not the boozes #ThanksOLCC. Noah Walden will grace the stage from 7:30pm to 8pm with live music featuring impressions of sitcom theme songs performed by famous singers. Complicated, right?
Hosted at Hablo Tacos & Abe Cappanas, with food and drink specials all night. Expect fast jokes, creative chaos, and just enough structure to keep things delightfully unhinged.
