Mixed comedy mayhem, delightfully random!
We're back for year 2 of the Derby Derps with a fun lineup and a fun mix of comedy! Join us at Silver Moon Brewing for a mint julep and the Kentucky Derby with a twist! Local comedians will be riffing on the race festivities in the style of Mystery Science Theater 3000 with added bits of sketch comedy, standup comedy and comedic readings all part of the mayhem. The comedians will be front and center slinging one-liners about horses, hats and derby traditions. This is a fundraising event for Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend with a portion of each ticket donated to support scholarships programs. Each ticket includes a hand-crafted mint julep from Silver Moon Brewing.
Doors at 1:00 pm, will comedy performed between 2:30pm and 4:30 pm. Food trucks are available onsite. The performance will be in the Main Taproom at Silver Moon Brewing.
Wear your biggest hat and day drink, for kids! Sounds weird, but well, it’s what we’re doing.
Performers include Jodi Compton, Noah Walden, Anthony Poponi and Mark Rook.
